What is Neon Core league?

NCL, or Neon Core League, is the most popular competitive sport in the surviving cities of Earth.

Part spectacle. Part profession. Part obsession.

Originally developed as a military training simulation for advanced combat systems to nock out Ai units, Neon Core evolved into a global phenomenon after the Collapse. Today, millions follow the leagues, while countless young players dream of one day reaching the Elite Division.

Team Composition

A standard Neon Core match is contested between six teams, each consisting of three members:

  • One male player

  • One female player

  • One autonomous AI unit, commonly referred to as a King

Basic Rules

Matches take place inside a hexagonal arena using charged Pulse Spheres.

Each player, except the King, carries two Pulse Spheres and attempts to eliminate opponents through speed, teamwork, strategy, and precision.

Pulse Spheres can be thrown, passed, or used in close combat. Their electromagnetic charge is capable of stunning or knocking out opponents. Multiple impacts may result in severe injuries—or even death. Spheres can be recharged when they are in contact with the floor.

The only effective protection against Pulse Spheres are specialized combat gloves designed to shield the player.

Kings possess no such protection.

Instead, they rely on armor, strength, and tactical superiority. Kings are permitted to use physical force and, in some leagues, even lethal force when engaging opposing players.

Victory Conditions

Victory requires far more than athletic ability.

Teams must synchronize with their King, adapt to rapidly changing situations, and make split-second decisions under extreme pressure.

A team is eliminated when all active players are unable to continue.

If a team's King is destroyed or incapacitated, that team immediately loses the match.

Protect your King at all costs.

League Structure

Qualifier

Entry-level competition where aspiring teams fight for recognition. Additional safety regulations and restrictions apply.

Amateur League

Professional competition featuring sponsors, rankings, and regional championships.

Elite League

The highest level of Neon Core.

Fast. Brutal. Unforgiving.

Watched by billions across the Net.

Human Enhancement Regulations

One rule remains absolute across all leagues:

If more than 50% of your body consists of cybernetic enhancements or artificial systems, you are legally reclassified as a machine.

Machines cannot compete as human players.

But they may enter as Kings.

The Three Principles

In Neon Core, survival depends on three things:

Trust. Speed. Tactics.

Trust your teammates.

Protect your King.

And never stop adapting.

Fight. Adapt. Ascend.
