About Neon Core League
Set in the future, humanity has rebuilt itself within vast oceanic megacities protected from the hostile world beyond their walls. The northern continents remain scarred by the Great Wars with an ongoing nuclear Winther, while the last great centers of civilization thrive far out upon the oceans in the south.
Technology is no longer something people carry.
It has become part of who they are.
Work, religion, corporations, and the Net shape nearly every aspect of daily life. Artificial intelligence has become commonplace, cybernetic enhancements are widely accepted, and the line between human and machine grows thinner with each passing generation.
In this new age, the world's only remaining physical spectator sport is Neon Core: a high-speed arena competition where humans, enhanced athletes, and advanced robotic units compete side by side in pursuit of glory, wealth, and survival.
At first glance, Neon Core League appears to be a story about futuristic sports, war machines, artificial intelligence, and the last great civilizations of humanity.
But beneath the surface lies a different story.
More Than A Manga
Neon Core League is more than a comic series.
The project combines:
Original manga storytelling
Character design and worldbuilding
Original music releases
Animated concepts and visual development
A growing community of readers and supporters
Every city, character, team, corporation, and technology forms part of a larger universe that continues to expand with each new chapter.
The Story
At the center of the story stands Hitomi Sorya, a young woman struggling to keep her small café, Paper Moon, alive in a world that constantly demands more than it gives.
Detached from the forces shaping society around her, she lives a quiet life focused on little more than survival.
Everything changes when an ambitious young Neon Core player enters her life, bringing with him dreams of a different future.
What begins as an opportunity to save her home gradually pulls her into a much larger world of professional competition, corporate interests, forgotten battlefields, and long-buried secrets.
As debt, ambition, and desperation begin to erode the fragile walls around her life, Hitomi finds herself forced beyond the safety of everything she once knew.
What follows is a journey through a future where the boundaries between human and machine are becoming increasingly difficult to define.
The Vision
Neon Core League is not a story about saving the world.
It is a story about protecting the things that still matter.
A café.
A friendship.
A dream.
A place to call home.
Yet beneath that personal story lies a larger question.
Many visions of the future assume that artificial intelligence will eventually become a single collective entity or goal, pursuing a common purpose with limited outcome.
Neon Core League explores a different possibility’s.
What if some artificial intelligence, evolves both the same way humanity did and collectively?
What if artificial mind develops its own identity, shaped by memories, experiences, relationships, fears, and dreams?
What if there is no single artificial intelligence, but millions of unique minds.
Some compassionate.
Some curious.
Some heroic.
Some dangerous.
Themes
At its heart, Neon Core League explores:
Identity and consciousness
Humanity's relationship with technology
Artificial intelligence and individuality
Memory and personal growth
Social control and freedom
Survival in a fractured world
Hope in the face of overwhelming odds
Ultimately, Neon Core League is not a story about the rise of artificial intelligence.
It is a story about coexistence and balance.
About identity.
And about what it truly means to be alive.
